Itinerary
Arrival at Katra, the base town for the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage.
Begin the trek to Vaishno Devi Temple, approximately 12 km uphill through picturesque landscapes. You can choose to walk or opt for pony rides or a helicopter (additional charges).
Enroute, visit the sacred Ardh Kuwari Cave, a significant spot where Mata Vaishno Devi meditated during her journey.
Evening Aarti (prayer ceremony) at the Vaishno Devi Temple,
Early morning Darshan (sight) of Mata Vaishno Devi, where you can seek blessings at the main temple.
Visit Banganga and Charan Paduka, revered holy sites located enroute to the temple.
After descending back to Katra, take time to relax and explore the town.
Afternoon visit to Bhairon Nath Temple, located on a hilltop, adding further spiritual significance to the pilgrimage.
Check-out from the hotel after breakfast.
Option to visit other local attractions in Katra, such as Raghunath Temple or spend time in the peaceful surroundings of the town before departure.
